Tasting Notes
100% Chardonnay from distinguished GC sites in Cramant and Avize, amongst others. Here, the quality of the base wines aged in oak barriques shines through the gauze of a fine, pearly mousse with bold notes of grapefruit, flowers and buttery brioche. This is from the very elegant 2016 vintage, and it’s only just starting out. Already complex and concentrated, it has a refreshing charge of acidity, but it’s also so smooth and silky on the tongue. As with all AG champagne, the finish is long and satisfying, with a ringing minerality and salinity.
