Tasting Notes

Tasting Note: Generous and immediately offers sweet, spice characters of fine oak lifting from the glass. These are underscored by fresh, red plum and cherry fruit characters at the heart of the wine.  Vinification: All fruit parcels were fermented in headless new American oak barrels. The wine was matured in fine-grained American oak barrels (100% new). After 12 months, a barrel selection assessment was undertaken to identify parcels deemed as ‘exceptional’ and these were blended and returned to barrel for a further 12 months’ maturation prior to bottling.
