Riesling Grand Cru 'Zinnkoepfle', Jean-Marie Haag, Alsace, France 2020
Alsace, France
Tasting Notes
J-M Haag Riesling Grand Cru Zinnkoepfle 2020. Haag’s current release of GC Riesling, this is bright and zinging with energy. There is a core of taut minerality, allied to a lime zest and grapefruit buzz. Still youthful, it is starting to develop some spice and herb complexity. The uppish citrus acidity ensures this one will evolve gracefully and slowly. Give it 8+ years at least.
