Tasting Notes
Domaine Fournier Pere et Fils Terres Blanches Sancerre 2021. Coming from one of the classic Sancerre terroirs, the white clay-limestone soil of Kimmeridgian marl in the west of the appellation. Late-maturing, the wine has a strong aromatic concentration, tension and longevity. There’s a streak of chalky sinew, tangy acidity and the juiciness of crunchy green apples and zesty grapefruit. Ageing on fine lees for 8 months refines the style and enhance the balance.
