Les Pénitents Chardonnay Organic Biodynamic, Les Vins Alphonse Mellot, Côtes de la Charite, Centre Loire, France 2017
Loire, France
Tasting Notes
Located in the IGP Côtes de la Charité this wine is made from 100% Chardonnay and is certified Organic and Biodynamic. An expressive nose delivering real aromatic intensity with notes of blossom, grapefruit zest and some tropical pineapple. This is a much more full-bodied white than your typical Loire and has a finely balanced palate with lemony hints, a creamy textured mouthfeel from lees ageing, and a full lingering finish.
