Pinot Blanc
Pinot Blanc is a white grape variety most closely associated with France's Alsace region and also planted in Germany - it is a member of the Pinot family and thought to be a mutation of Pinot Gris. It can produce wines in a variety of styles, ranging from full and rich to light and delicate and is popular amongst growers seeking food-friendly wines that are perhaps slightly softer than other varieties, but still reflective of their sense of place.
