Falanghina
Falanghina (pronounced FA-lan-GHEE-nah) is a white grape native to the Italian region of Campania where its cultivation is centred around the province Benevento north of Napoli. Whilst the grape has always produced lean wines with fresh acidity, the application of modern, cool temperature winemaking have uncovered its ability to product aromatic wines with notes of apple and peach which has led to increasing interest in the variety.
