Sumaridge Estate Wines
Sumaridge Estate Wines is proudly owned by the Bellingham-Turner family. The Estate is situated on the banks of the Onrus river in the beautiful Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley near Hermanus, South Africa. A combination of cool climate deriving from the South Atlantic Ocean and moderate soil types such as decomposed granite, enables us to grow grapes of a high quality which reflects in our wines. "Earthly Expression Portrayed to Heavenly Effect". Their first vines were planted in 1998 and our first vintage was in 2001 and have grown from 8ha - 32ha of vineyards over the past 18 years. Their main focus in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
