Greco
The name of this grape harks back to the Greek origins of ancient Italian viticulture, and is used to make the famous Campanian white wine, Greco di Tufo. This late-ripening grape produces wines that are relatively deep in colour with pleasant acidity and typical aromas of peach and pear. They also tend to have quite opulent and almost oily texture, giving a richness and minerality to the texture of the wine.
